Hands down...best restaurant in the area. Dinner last night was perfect & underscores the consistency of quality, uniqueness at a very affordable price point. The menu is only one part of the dining experience. The locality & spectacular renovation work have resulted in a most appealing setting to enjoy great food along with a staff focused on customer enjoyment. Thanks Jason, Michele, Cindy & team.

We had our wedding at Pine Brook Farm on 8/11/18. Our experience with the Pine Brook Farm team was amazing. From the first tour of the venue through the cleanup on Sunday morning after the wedding, working with Jason and Michele was a dream. Both went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The farm was prepared perfectly and the food was delicious. The service was fast and the food was so fresh. Our guests (185+) were all served through the buffet line and back to their seats within minutes (I still haven’t figured out how they were so fast). Jason kept his promise to finish the great big barn for our dance and it looks AMAZING! I can’t tell you how many people came to us and said our wedding was the best they’ve attended. The level of professionalism, kindness, attention to detail and expertise is second to none. I have worked with thousands of vendors in 100+ weddings as a photographer. This venue is one of a kind and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique/charming/rustic/farm wedding. We are still smiling and overjoyed with our experience.  5 Stars

This is a very surprising northwoods little kept secret. I had the best walleye ever! If you don't try it your missing out. My fiance had the bison steak. It was so juicy and tender that it melt in your mouth. The atmosphere was beautiful. The entire experience was shockingly outstanding. They do a great job. I loved the history of the place that's still incorporated throughout. Oh and you have to try the cobbler. 5 Stars 

Beautiful setting with great food and a very rustic bar out front. Outdoor seating and plenty of room for the kids to run around and check out the chickens. Take an after dinner stroll up the hill to the old barn and shed where they have weddings overlooking the rolling fields of corn. We try to stop in 2-3 times a week! Friendly staff and service is great! Good drinks too!! 5 Stars 

I love this place! There is great food and drinks as well as a backyard atmosphere. The menu is fresh and has many GF options. The service was very good too. Highly recommend trying it out! 5 Stars

Attended a wedding at Pine Brook Farm on 8/11. It was a gorgeous location for an outdoor summer wedding with rolling hills of farmland surrounding. We loved the separate locations for the ceremony (corn crib), dinner (main house restaurant) and reception (barn). We had never attended a “barn wedding” before , but I would highly recommend this location to future couples looking for that perfect wedding venue! (Or any other celebratory events!) 

This was our 4th time at Pine Brook Farm this summer. The portions are very good. They have a mix of burgers, flatbread pizza and comfort food. The farm house still feels like the farmers would walk in any minute to ask about your meal. It's a little out of the way but that adds so much to the charm of eating here. We may have one more chance to eat here before camping season is over for the year. 5 Stars – Chuck Larsen

My nephew’s wedding reception was here and it was such a great experience. Had dinner here as well and the staff is just fantastic. If you are ever in the Spooner area you have to have dinner here! I recommend the pulled pork. 

This evening on the way to the cabin (NW corner of Grindstone Lake), we stopped at Pine Brook Farm to give it a try. We were very pleasantly surprised. The setting is storybook, the grounds and buildings are tastefully rustic and understated, but if you look closely, the owners have put lots of time, thought and effort into creating an idyllic, northwoods/farm ambiance. The place was quite crowded (a good sign), and we had to wait a bit for our food, BUT--our server checked in with us frequently to make sure we were doing okay and not short on beverages. When the food came and we tasted the first morsels (walleye and a bison burger), we became immediate "five-star enthusiasts." The quality and presentation of the food was nothing short of gourmet. The owners and whoever is working the kitchen really know what they're doing, and the wait staff were true believers in the enterprise as well. Oh, and to top if all off, the price was right. Next time you're in the area, head for this place--and take your friends there too. They'll be impressed that you know of such fine establishment tucked calmly away from traffic and other distractions. 5 Stars

Fun, family experience! We made a 6pm reservation on a Friday and were glad we did!
It's one of the only real restaurants nearby and a very cool environment with seasonal menu options. We sat on the porch and they allowed my husband to bring the Friday night fish fry to the table so the rest of us could eat from the menu. Service was attentive and friendly. We had our baby so it was appreciated the food arrived timely. Wine and beer list was quite good. Love the carnivore red! We took the peanut butter pie and cobbler home for dessert. We fought over them they were so good. 5 Stars 

One of my favorite spots. Have done the wine tastings and so much fun. Or sitting outside in the Woodtick lounge on a nice summer day. Food never disappoints. 5 Stars 

5 stars and kudos to Michele and the staff at Pine Brook Farm..What an awesome venue for a 65th Birthday celebration. Had a gathering  of about 30 friends and family. Delicious Hors d'oeuvres and drinks were enjoyed by all on the sunny porch. Cozy comfortable seating inside  offered a homey atmosphere. The main meal was incredibly delectable..I chose the  pan fried walleye which was to die for.. I  also begged a taste  of the chicken alfredo and the steak, both of which everyone raved about. Thanks again for making a special day, extra special.. I almost forgot..the berry cobbler  Yummy !       

I Lisa Powers was married to Pat Powers in Shell Lake August 16th 2014, on a bright sunny day.

We held our wedding reception at the Pine Brook Farm on Cty Hwy A in Spooner that afternoon.

The restaurant was wonderful with helping to set up the reception, using the decoration's we dropped off in advance, thereby eliminating that stressful issue on a very busy wedding day.

We got to use the entire outdoor area for our event.  They also opened up the outdoor barn bar, which was very unique and convenient.

Our meal was cooked for us right there outside on a huge grill with Grilled Walleye or Grilled Steak and grilled asparagus.  We had cake and a half keg of beer, and a case of champagne for all present.

The restaurant outdoor setting was very comfortable and casual yet elegant to serve all needs of our guest. 

We also had music provided by a DJ and enjoyed the Farm like setting out in the country.

Pine Brook Farm really went out of their way to accommodate any needs and requests that we had.

Our Guests had a great time, and I would recommend this Farm for a Wedding event anytime.

The cost of the meal was broke down by food item selection and number of guests that eat dinner, which was perfect within my wedding budget.

We did not pay for things we did not get, and there was no excess in unused food or drink.

I would most definitely do it again at the Pine Brook Farm.
